Victoria Hinson, Named 2021 CRLA Peer Educator of the Year
The College Reading and Learning Association named Victoria Hinson the 2021 Peer Educator of the Year. This national award recognizes undergraduates who serve in a learning center and perform exemplary work in the support of student success. Victoria graduated from East Carolina University with degrees in B.S. in Mathematics Education, a B.A. in Chemistry, as well as a B.A. in Mathematics.
Nominated by the Pirate Academic Success Center staff, Victoria’s recognition is an honor for her, the PASC and East Carolina University. Victoria served at the Pirate Academic Success Center for three years as a mentor, math tutor, and study skills coach and earned CRLA Level 1, level 2 and Level 3 leadership certifications.
